optimistic about art lately. Not that I feel anywhere near confident in anything I am doing. But I am starting to feel like I can get to where I want to be if I keep at it. There is so much to learn but I am starting to have more fun now. I have been reading a lot of Richard Schmid lately, that guy has really opened my eyes. I only hope I can somehow apply a fraction of what he speaks of in his book "Alla Prima" to what I am trying to do. He really makes me want to do oils again though.
On a side note, if anyone who views this blog has any crits or suggestions on what I should focus on or practice I would love to hear what you think. Happy Holidays :)
